Weather cloudy and gloomy; started about 9 o'clock a. m. to
take Hattie Glover home, then took Pert to call on Phineas Thompson's family,
and then in the afternoon we went to John Wilson's. It's always a pleasure to
see Mr. and Mrs. Wilson though a sad duty since Em and the other children died.
Pert and I called on Helen Thompson, and I in the evening on Mrs. Oromal Dodge.
Coming home our wheel set over which we had quite a frolic, but we arrived safely
