UNIONVILLE, January 6, 1857

AN ELECTION is hereby ordered for COLONEL to command the 36^th Regiment of S. C. M., on Saturday, the 7^th day of March next, to fill the vacancy occasioned by the resignation of Col. S. M. SNODDY.

Lieut. Col. McDowell and Maj. A J. Foster are charged with the extension of this order.
