Rumors are
circulating that we are to be ordered away from here. I am glad of it as I like
to be kept active. Still this garrison duty is necessary as it gives us all
time to learn our business. There is nothing like practical experience; it is
the best school one can have. Marching orders have just come and we leave for
Columbus, Ky., in the morning.
