Esther dead! Gone
home two days before I heard or dreamed of it! But since she has gone home, — since
it is only a glorious release for her, — I will not let a thought of repining
sully the gladness I ought to share with her. It is only that one who has
always lived near the Holiest One is now called nearer still. I have known her
only in Him, and there I know her and love her still.
