Organized at
Indianapolis, Ind., and mustered in February 21, 1865. Left State for
Nashville, Tenn., February 24; thence moved to Murfreesboro, Tenn., and duty
there till May 13. Attached to 1st Brigade, 1st Sub-District, District of
Middle Tennessee, Dept. of the Cumberland. Moved to Tullahoma, Tenn., May 13,
and duty there till June 26. Garrison duty at Nashville, Clarksville and Fort
Donelson, Tenn., till October. Mustered out at Nashville, Tenn., October 17,
1865.
