Diary of Private Daniel L. Ambrose: July 30, 1863

This morning we leave Macedonia, taking the road leading towards Trenton. We halt for dinner at Ewel's Cross Roads. Moving on we arrive at Dresden, on the Louisville and Memphis Railroad; about six o'clock we go into camp two miles from the railroad.
