The American Whip Company, of Charlestown, have manufactured
a magnificent whip, which is to be presented to President Lincoln. A portion of the stock is ivory, elaborately
carved, with patriotic devices, and a raised portrait of the President. The remainder of the stock is a hickory
stick, with silver tipped knots. The
ferrules are of gold, and on one is an appropriate inscription.
