The Democrat says,
“Bro. Sanders again consoles himself at the death of the Democratic party.” It is some consolation, neighbor, to know the
thing is dead, but it is greater consolation to think that slavery is likely to
die with it. Like the expiring swan, it
gave forth its most musical notes in its death throes.
