CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO.,
May 17.
Dispatches just received from Col. Daniels’ headquarters,
near Bloomfield, Mo., contain accounts of the capture of the notorious Col.
Phelan of Jeff. Thompson’s gang of marauders, and over one hundred of his

themselves up, and expressed a desire to return to a quiet and peaceful life.
