After breakfast fixed up a little and went to town to see
Melissa and get second volume of “Life
of Washington.” Received an excellent letter from the fair Rowena. In the P.
M. and evening wrote to Ella Clark and a little to Fannie. I like Ella Clark
very much. She is talented and good and true, I guess.
