Company of volunteers came to town we formed in line & saluted them I then
assigned them their places for dinner which we had arranged previous afternoon
we had several speeches our companys then formed in line and paraded on the
square after we broke ranks G. Udell & Talbot took up a collection &
got over ten dollars to get our company a flag
