Raid on Mobile and Ohio R. R. and skirmish at Purdy, Tenn., May 7. Moved to Bethel and Jackson, Tenn., June 4-7 and duty there till July. Assigned to Stewart's Illinois Cavalry Battalion July, 1862, which see.
