Chase, Ohio, and mustered in July 1, 1861. Moved to Gallipolis, Ohio, thence
with Cox, into West Virginia. Action at Scarrytown July 17. At Gauley Bridge
till August. Mustered out at Columbus, Ohio, September 3, 1861.
