To the Illinois Ladies

We are requested in behalf of twenty of the wounded Iowa soldiers, who returned to their Iowa homes via the Illinois Central Railroad on Thursday last, to return their sincere thanks to the ladies at Centralia, Pana and Decatur, for their kindness in dressing their wounds, and for refreshments, fruits, etc., furnished them. Their kindness will never be forgotten by these brave soldiers.
