Died

At La Vena, Des Moines Co., Iowa, March 8, at 6 o’clock P. M., Mrs. AUGUSTA U. DENNIS, wife of J. A. Dennis.  Aged 41.  (Formerly of Hillsboro’ Co., N. H.)

“None knew here but to love her,

Or named her but to praise.”

Yesterday morning, at her residence on South Hill, Mrs. SUSANNAH  CABBAGE, in the 80th year of her age.

She was truly a good woman, and in all the relations of life conducted herself in an exemplary manner.  She endured a long and painful illness with christian resignation and tranquilly closed her eyes in the sleep of death, in full confidence of a happy immortality throught the merits of the Redeemer.
