Lord Lyons, the British Minister . . .

. . . is going to enliven Washington Society a little.  The legation is in mourning, and the observance of Lent prohibits dancing, so he is going into the private theatrical business.  Among the pieces already performed was Bombastes Furioso, Dr. Russell of the Times doing the Bombastes.  He did it well.
