A good deal of fighting going on among us. A large number of
sailors and marines are confined with us, and they are a quarrelsome set. I
have a very sore hand, caused by cutting a hole through the car trying to get
out. I have to write with my left hand It is going to be an awful place during
the summer months here, and thousands will die no doubt
