The Academy examinations commenced today; attended morning
prayers. Mr. J. S. Spaulding looks and is the same as ever; nice old gentleman;
called at the Curriers this evening; were glad to see me; clever old people;
attended the examination of a class of youngsters in geography at the Academy.
