The Court House at Middleport, Iroquois Co., Ill., was burned on the night of the 24th ult., and a prisoner named Henry Davis, who was in the jail, when the fire originated, and is supposed to have set it on fire, perished in the flames. All the records and papers were saved. – Loss $10,000; insured for $5,000.
