WASHINGTON, March 23. – Mrs. Morris, of Baltimore, who was
arrested on the belief that she had been engaged in treasonable correspondence
with the rebels, has been released on parole not to tender aid to the enemies
of the United States. Letters were found
in her possession from Southerners in France.
