Camp Flat Top Mountain. — Clear and cool. A private
dispatch informs General Cox that General Banks has been driven back by the
Rebel Jackson, probably to Harpers Ferry. This is a long move to the rear. If
true, it indicates a pretty heavy disaster; places in jeopardy the Baltimore
and Ohio Railroad, etc. So we go.
