Diary of Lieutenant-Colonel Rutherford B. Hayes: Tuesday, June 10, 1862

Still cold. A month ago we were driven out of Giles. Over three weeks of inaction! No news for two or three days either from McClellan or Halleck. Fremont is pushing ahead with energy.
