In the morning cared for Rowena and gave out the bread. Read
“Thirteen Months in the Rebel Service” by Stevenson, very interesting. No
lesson in the evening. Capt. and Lt. Case gone home. Studied mine but did not
care much about reciting. Wish I could go home now, too.
