. . . of Iowa, has recently met with a sad blow in the death of his eldest daughter. Miss Sallie Curtis was an accomplished young lady, and took an active interest in the welfare of the soldiers, acting as Secretary to the Ladies’ Aid Society. She died at St. Louis on Wednesday last of typhoid fever.
