A rich, middle-aged Dutch widower . . .

. . . residing near Youngstown, Ohio, recently sent an order to a business firm at Cleveland for a wife, to be ready for him on a certain day.  Such an order took the merchants rather aback; but as the man was a good customer, they set to work to oblige him.  A tolerably good looking girl was found, who could speak German and English, and very much wanted a husband.  The parties were introduced, approved of one another, immediately got married and went away happy to the husband’s home.
