Worcester, March 18, 1857.
Friend Brown, — I have
just returned from Albany, and find your favor of the 16th. I am glad you had a
good meeting at Concord, — as I knew you would have, for the blood of heroes is
not extinct in that locality. I will see some of our friends here to-morrow,
and we will decide at once about your speaking here. If you are to speak, you
will do well to be here a day or two in advance, and converse with some of our
citizens. I will write you again to-morrow.
