Melissa sent word that she was going on the P. M. train. So
I rode up and bade her goodbye on the cars. Seemed sad to have her go. Have
enjoyed having her here so much. Thede got a letter from home. Sent a letter to
Ma. Roast beef for supper. Went down and saw the boys in the evening.
