Nothing of importance. The boys had the laugh on our
commanding general this afternoon when we were returning from drill; he was
riding at the head of the division and when crossing the creek at a rocky ford
he was thrown from his horse. The boys declared that the horse was O. K., but
that perhaps the real cause of his ducking was Southern rum.
