Very cloudy and a high gale all day; formed line for review
at 9 a. m.; moved a half mile out of camp, stacked arms, remained two hours and
then started for the parade ground about a half mile away on John Minor Bott's
farm; review passed off pleasantly, but it was very cold. The Corps made a fine
appearance; wonder what Vermont people would think to see such a review; guess
their eyes would pop plum out of their head.
